School Transfer Options
Information Regarding Voluntary Transfers for the 2013/2014 School Year.
The Voluntary Transfer application for High School continues to be available until August 7th, 2013. Forms are also available at the high schools or at the Education Service Center, 1516 Washington St. for your convenience.
Please note that the Middle School application process is now closed and the Elementary Voluntary Transfer applications are not currently available.
Please continue to check this site for Elementary Options for transfer. Once the process is open, which will be determined in part by the release of No Child Left Behind School Choice requirements, the Waterloo Community School District will make public accouncements in the news and on our website indicating the process and procedures to apply.
Families are strongly encouraged to make sure their student’s current school has their correct mailing address in order to receive any information that may be mailed. Unfortunately, at this time, a specific date cannot be provided to families as we are awaiting information from the Iowa Department of Education for No Child Left Behind School Choice requirements.
