The Board of Education may utilize the services of advisory committees to learn the desires of the District and its residents. The purpose of all advisory committees is to contribute to the educational programs of the District by studying issues, identifying problems, and developing recommendations. The authority to make decisions will continue to reside with the Board in accordance with Iowa law.
The Board committees include Policy Review, Compensation, PPEL and One Cent Local Option Oversight, Safety, and Community Education.
