The Waterloo Community School District is committed to earn and maintain the public trust through open accounting and transparency in our finances.  The District has earned the "Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting" each year beginning in 1997.  This award is presented by the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) in accordance with requirements of federal and state Governmental Accepted Accounting Princinples (GAAP).

2011-2012 Certified Budget Approval

By April 15th of each year, school districts are required to publish and approve the Annual Certified Budget.  The Board of Education approves the maximum allowable expenditures for each fund and the Property Tax Levy Rate for the following fiscal year of July 1 - June 30.
