Directions for the New AEA Onlilne Training System
Each new school year all Waterloo Schools’ employees are required to take the mandatory trainings offered online through AEA 11. Click here to link to the training site. A user name and password are required to sign into the system. There is no charge to Waterloo Schools’ personnel to take the following trainings: OSHA (Right to Know), Bloodborne Pathogens, and Asbestos. Directions for New AEA Online Training System
Harassment training will be handled the same as last year. You can watch the video in your respective building and then have a discussion regarding the content. Individuals should sign off on this training on the building sign-off sheet. Completed sign-off sheets should be sent to Human Resources.
Mandatory Reporter
Persons taking the Mandatory Reporter training WILL be charged for this training. Cost is $25.00. This pertains to teachers and coaches only. This training is a mandatory step towards renewing your teaching/coaching license. The district no longer pays for this training.
Medication Adminstration
Employees needing to take additional trainings for administrating medication to students may also look at the Course Catalog for a training that applies to their needs.
