Inspiring the next generation of innovators! Camp Invention is returning June 10-14 to Lou Henry and Lincoln Elementary. A limited number of scholarships are available based on financial need. These scholarships are only available through the Waterloo schools. Please watch for more details.
Participants will become investigators, engineers, and scientists while creating inventions to solve exciting challenges. Experiment with STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering, and math) in four fun hands-on modules each day.
- Join us on an international expedition, navigating your way to treasure filled caches containing global challenges from youth around the world!
- Explore the earthly realms of sky, sea, land, and underground while inventing tools to reveal hidden messages.
- Invent and play your way through a global expedition, exploring extremes of the natural world: heat, height, crystals, water, and cold.
- Put physics to use taking apart machines and re-engineering them to create a Duck Chuck Device to destroy competitor duck territory!
The camp will be at Lincoln and Lou Henry Elementary June 10-14, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, for students entering 1-6th grade. Lunch, a snack, and transportation is provided.
