Information Regarding Voluntary Transfers for the 2013-14 School Year.  

The Voluntary Transfer applications for Middle School and High School are now available by clicking on the appropriate link below.  Forms are also available at each middle/high school or at the Education Service Center, 1516 Washington St.

The deadline for Middle School Voluntary Transfer applications is June 3, 2013.

Please note that Elementary Voluntary Transfer applications are not currently available.  Once the process is open, which will be determined in part by the release of No Child Left Behind School Choice requirements, the Waterloo Community School District will make public announcements in the news and on our website indicating the process and procedures to apply.

Families are strongly encouraged to make sure their student’s current school has their correct mailing address in order to receive any information that may be mailed.  Unfortunately, at this time, a specific date cannot be provided to families as we are awaiting information from the Iowa Department of Education for No Child Left Behind School Choice requirements.
