Our partnership is a strong link between the school and the community

Recent Projects 

** Readers In the Classroom: Volunteers from the VeridianCommunity Credit Union, The Optimist Club and InVision Architecture come to Kittrell each month to read to classrooms in K-3 grade. Students in Kindergarten later took a field trip to the movie.

**Pen Pals: Kittrell 4th graders and our Special Needs class, Veridian Community Credit Union, Ridgeway Place, and the American Cancer Society correspond monthly with each other. They  met in January.

** Birthday gifts: Each child is given a gift during their birthday month by the Veridian Community Credit Union. Employees visit classrooms at the end of each month to present the birthday bags and sing Happy Birthday to the students. It is a very popular partners activity with our children.

** Corporate Holiday Greeting Card: Veridian Community Credit Union used student art work for their business holiday greetings. Students are invited to Pioneer Graphics to view the printing of the Christmas cards. The students learn how their art work in class is taken through the printing process.

**Special Performances: In December the Kittrell Chorus members were invited to Veridian Community Credit Union and Ridgeway Place to sing.

**Perfect Attendance awards are provided each year by Veridian Community Credit Union, Ridgeway Place, and the American Cancer Society.

** Fall festival games and prizes are provided by VeridianCommunity Credit Union, In Vision and the Olive Garden, Optimist Club volunteers will be on hand to help sell tickets.
