At Lou Henry, students work with the professional school counselor in a variety of ways. Whether it is through classroom guidance lessons, small group activities, or individual meetings when needed, the counselor helps with issues that affect children’s academic, social, or emotional development. Children may ask to visit with the counselor or be referred by parents, staff members, or other students.
Communication between parents, teachers, and the counselor is helpful. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child. When needed, I am also able to help make referrals for programs and services in our community. By working together, I hope to help make your family’s experience at Lou Henry the best it can be!
