We celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss a couple of days early and WOW did we have fun! The kids were treated to a variety of literacy and math activities based on books written by Dr. Seuss. We rhymed with the -at family, made Oobleck, counted & sorted goldfish crackers, sang Happy Birthday and decorated cakes for Dr. Seuss, and so much more! Be sure to ask your student what they learned about today!
On Thursday, February 16, 2012 students from Kittrell Elementary joined us to present a play about Rosa Parks.

On February 1, Poyner students who sold at least 25 items during our fall fundraiser were treated to a Limo ride and lunch at Pizza Hut! We wanted to thank them for helping us raise money for Poyner. Thanks everyone for making our fundraiser a success!
