Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa: A wide range of scholarships are available to students in Black Hawk County with a wide variety of eligibility requirements and special interest areas. Students may apply for multiple scholarships! Application is available at: Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa.org. Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa Click on “RECEIVE”, and follow the links for Scholarships.

Students may simply choose their county (where they attend school), and high school, and a list of scholarships for which they may be eligible will automatically be generated for them! They should *read* the descriptions of each scholarship, choose the ones for which they want to apply, and click “Apply Now” – then their scholarship application will be generated (including the list of scholarships they chose) in .PDF format. They can type right in the form, print, sign and submit, along with the required attachments (transcript, one letter of reference, and essay).

*Important note: Students MUST visit the website to start the application process, because they must submit the LIST of scholarships they want to apply for with their application. This list can only be generated from the website. Students will be ineligible if they fill out a hard copy of the application form but never visit our website to choose the scholarships for which they want to apply. Also, the list of required attachments/submissions is ONLY available on the website.
