Applications are now being taken for qualified Owner Occupied Homeowners in Waterloo for home repair assistance. The From the Heart: Waterloo Home Enhancement Project is in a Co-Sponsor Agreement between variousWaterloo Agencies, Community Members, and Group Workcamp Foundation. This partnership will lead to the repair and improvement of up to 65 homes in Waterloo, Iowa.
During the week of July 15 – July 21, 2012, more than 400 senior high youth from across the nation will arrive with their youth groups in Waterloo, along with adult supervisors and Group Workcamps staff. They want to repair and/or paint up to 60-80 homes. The service is provided free of charge through the hard work of many volunteers.
