2013 Class Reunions
East High Class of 1963 is planning a 50th class reunion May 24 – 26, 2013. Friday, May 24th classmates will be at the car show and cattle congress from 5 – 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25th from Noon to 4 p.m. classmates will be at the 4th Street Cruise, then Saturday night everyone will meet at the Clarion, 5826 University, Cedar Falls, social will begin at 7 p.m., dinner (buffet style) beginning at 8 p.m. followed by music, program and social. Sunday, May 26th classmates will get together for coffee and rolls at the Times Sports Bar and Grill, 213 E. 5th Street, Waterloo followed by a tour at 10:00 a.m. of East High School. Central High Class of 1983 is planing a 30th class reunion August 2-3, 2013. Friday, August 2nd the group will have a social gathering at Becks on University at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 3 there will be a tour of Central at 2 p.m. followed by a social, dinner, and dance starting at 6 p.m. at 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center. Central High Class of 1988 is planning a reunion for June 21-22, 2013. Classmates from out-of-town will begin to arrive on Thursday, June 20th; hotel block is available at the Isle of Capri Casino, 777 Isle of Capri Blvd., Waterloo, IA, you can reserve a room under the block name CHS Class of 1988 Reunion. Friday, June 21st there will be a Golf Event and Best Ball Tournament at Gates Golf Park (hosted by Mike Weidman and Co.). Registration in advance is required, please register at michaelweidman@rydellauto.com. Friday night there will be a Class Meet and Greet at Jameson’s Public House, 310 E. 4th street, Waterloo at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 classmates will gather at Central Middle School beginning at 4 p.m. with a tour of Central at 5 p.m. followed activities.
